Elektrostat

Technical features

Electrostates are highly efficient separators that use ionisation to deposit grease and smoke on their collector plates, thus capturing minute particles from the exhaust air.

Fields of application

  • Suitable for smaller as well as larger kitchens with air volume flows of e.g. 30,000 m³/h due to modular design

Function

  • Separates grease and increased blue smoke from the exhaust air
  • Works on the principle of electrostatic precipitation, comparable to the magnetic attraction on iron particles
  • Low pressure loss, so existing fans do not need to be reinforced when retrofitted
  • The ionisation section gives the particles an electrical charge (+). The trapping section holds the previously trapped particles. The action generated by the electrostat is almost instantaneous and with increased efficiency

Technology material

  • Structure: Ionization + Separation
  • Electrostat in aluminum housing, pre-filter made of metal mesh (air inlet side)
  • All high voltage parts internally encapsulated

Installation maintenance

  • Standard dimensions suitable for common dimensions, pocket filter insertion height 592 mm and 490 mm
  • Easy to remove from the housing and clean via plug connection

  • The efficiency of the electrostat has been shown by the Institute of Environmental Pollution of the C.N.R. (National Research Council)
