In less than two decades to become an internationally recognised expert

oxytec AG was founded by Dipl.-Ing. Anja Toussaint and Dr Christian Haverkamp in 2004 in Zurich. With their experience in the automotive industry, plant engineering and construction, as well as strategy and restructuring consulting, both recognised the potential of alternative technologies for exhaust air purification at an early stage. In the course of their business activities, it became apparent that the chosen mechanisms of action are also suitable for the disinfection and cleaning of water and surfaces. Numerous studies prove the high effectiveness of the processes.

Tested and found to be good

Our technologies are scientifically sound and are regularly evaluated by specialist institutes such as the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics (IBP), TÜV, Müller BBM and others. In recent years, we have equipped countless industrial companies, commercial kitchens, cruise ships and private households with the products and devices we have developed.

Efficiency copied from nature

Three points were always important to the founders, which today characterise the company’s entire product range: strong effect, environmentally friendly technology, low running costs. All the processes used by Oxytec AG are closely related to the purification mechanisms in nature: nature has optimised them over millions of years. This is perhaps one reason why the company’s technologies are particularly effective for organic pollution.
