To start the ozone generation, the plant is released. As a prerequisite for release, the doors are closed. The maximum exposure time and the ozone concentration are set via the user guidance on the ozone control outside the room. The ozone content is maintained by the control within the set minimum and maximum limits, for the set duration. A green LED “ON/ON” in the front of the housing signals the operation of the device. A relay contact signals the absence of interference. By means of three 24V outputs, which are provided for the connection of a signal lamp, the current operating status of the ozone generation is indicated as follows:
- Green: Room can be entered:Ozone concentration is below 0.06 ppm.
- Yellow: Ozone generation is building up or dying down
- Red: Ozonation: Ozone concentration is within the set limits. The room cannot be entered now! An existing fault, e.g. an optional activation of a door contact, a fault message of the device or a defective ozone sensor is signaled as a collective fault message via a corresponding LED in the operating unit.
