This water disinfection emitter reliably inactivates bacteria and other pathogenic germs in the water.

Fields of application

  • For wastewater, drinking and process water

Function

  • UV radiation from the low-pressure lamp inactivates bacteria, viruses and other germs by 99.999 %.
  • Purely physical process, without chemistry. Therefore no change of the original water properties (ph-value, color, odor, taste, minerals).
  • Lamp monitoring: a lamp defect is indicated by an operating light

Use

  • For wastewater, drinking and process water

Technology material

  • Stainless steel with very high surface quality for highest demands on hygiene.
  • The UV-C emitters with protection tubes are installed in the stainless steel tube without the possibility of pressure loss
  • Monitoring of the emitters is possible on request: a malfunction is indicated by an indicator LED or a remote signalling contact
  • The high power lamps guarantee an operating time of 12,000 hours at constant power output

    integrated into existing pressure lines in just a few steps
  • The systems are connected via an external thread
  • Ballast and control electronics are installed in a separate switch box
