Why does the grease trap room smell so strong even though it is emptied regularly?

Even with regular emptying, fatty residues, foul gases, and sulfur compounds remain in the system.
In addition, the following can occur:

Do the devices require a lot of maintenance?

Yes – our systems are moisture-resistant and designed for use in technical rooms with increased humidity.

No—our systems dose the amount of ozone precisely below levels that are harmful to health (e.g., according to DIN EN 60335).

Can air purification be linked to building management systems?

Yes – all Oxytec systems are optional:

  • time-switchable
  • Sensor or odor controlled
  • controllable via relay or BUS connection
    This allows air purification to be operated on demand or automatically.
