Save energy – Demand Galley Ventilation

The treatment and air conditioning of the room air requires the second-highest energy consumption on board. The galleys consume a large proportion of this energy.

Instead of continuously providing a high volume of air for the galleys so that there is always enough air, we control the air volume as required using heat sensors. This saves up to 70% of the energy used – and significantly reduces the noise level.

Automated flap systems dimension supply air and exhaust air according to demand. The total volume of air required can therefore be significantly reduced.

As the temperature sensors are fitted directly in the hoods, installation is also possible after the kitchen has been installed. The electrical installation is much simpler than with sensors in the cooking appliances.

Grease deposits in exhaust air ducts are a high fire risk. Our hoods eliminate grease directly at the source:
