Nicotine smell in the ventilation ducts

Our Plasma Mini is the ideal device to significantly reduce nicotine deposits in the ventilation system of ships and thus keep the ducts and filters of the air handling units odor-free. Due to the negative pressure in the exhaust air duct, the device injects air containing ozone, which mixes with odors and nicotine in the duct. The pollutants and odour-active substances are immediately oxidized in a chemical reaction. The device is installed outside the air flow and is therefore protected from contamination.

The wear-free plasma electrodes inside the device generate ozone, which oxidizes with the nicotine. An optional ozone control can be supplied so that the ozone concentration in the room never exceeds the maximum limit value of 0.06 ppm.

The ozone control can be controlled via the ship’s automation system so that all information – e.g. for public areas on ships such as casinos etc. – can be called up.

Smell of nicotine in adjoining rooms and cabins

Whether permitted or not, rooms or cabins are repeatedly misused for smoking. With our sanitizing devices, the room is flooded with ozone for a few hours. After that, the air is fresh again and the odor is permanently removed from upholstery and other materials. (People are not allowed in the room during the sanitization process).
