oxytec AG endeavors to make its website accessible in accordance with the applicable regulations on digital accessibility, in particular the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG). This accessibility statement applies to the website.

1. assessment of the status of compatibility with the requirements

Our website largely fulfills the requirements for digital accessibility.

2 Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

  • Low color contrast: text or graphics with too little contrast to the background. We check and update this content on an ongoing basis.
  • PDF documents: Some of our PDF documents are not accessible. We are working on adapting these as quickly as possible or providing accessible alternatives.
  • Videos: Some of our embedded videos do not currently have subtitles. We will endeavor to provide subtitles for all videos in the future.
  • Images without alternative text: Some images on the website do not have alternative text. We are constantly reviewing and updating this content.

3. barriers due to economic unreasonableness

Some barriers on our website cannot be removed in the short term due to economic reasonableness. These include:

Complex interactive applications: Certain interactive applications and special features on our website require significant financial and human resources to make them fully accessible. We are continually looking at ways to improve, but cannot remove all barriers immediately due to the high costs involved.

Historical content: Older content that was created before the BFSG came into force may not be fully accessible. Subsequent adaptation of this content would require disproportionately high expenditure. New content will be created in accordance with current standards.
