Extractor hoods are indispensable and therefore mandatory for use above cooking areas where frying, deep-frying or grilling is the main activity. Their primary task is to remove grease and pollutants from the exhaust air and prevent them from spreading in the work area.

oxytec offers wall, ceiling and counter hoods, each with different ventilation systems:

Supply air hoods
Supply air hoods bring fresh air into the kitchen from outside to maintain the oxygen content in the room and create a pleasant working environment. The fresh air is distributed evenly throughout the kitchen area so that employees can breathe fresh, uncontaminated air. The air is distributed via pressure chambers integrated longitudinally into the hood body in such a way that a flow through the work area and draughts are avoided.

Induction hoods
With our induction hoods, the supply air is guided through nozzles in such a way that it specifically supports the exhaust air flow. The supplied air captures the exhaust air and guides it in the right direction. With better performance, this saves considerable energy and reduces noise levels in the room. Vapors and grease mist are isolated, preventing them from spreading throughout the room.

Injection hoods/pulse hoods
Our impulse hoods work with a strong, focused air jet that injects the supply air into the area below the hood, directly in the direction of the cooking zones with an "impulse", forcing the rising cooking vapors, grease particles and heat directly towards the exhaust hood. This prevents air turbulence, significantly improves the air quality in the workspace and reduces energy consumption for heating or cooling.

Air curtain hoods
Our air curtain hoods create a vertical air flow that separates the cooking area from the rest of the kitchen like an invisible curtain. This barrier prevents rising cooking vapors, grease mist, pollutants or odors from escaping into the kitchen or other rooms. The constant flow of supply air is barely perceptible with this duct, while the air quality in the room is optimal.
